Initial talks underway about Trump interview in Mueller Russia probe
The US Special Counsel, who is investigating the Trump presidential campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia, is said to be seeking an interview with the president. Sources familiar with the issue say Special Counsel Robert Mueller has informed President Donald Trump’s legal team of the interview. The sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, say the interview could be held within the next several weeks on QUOTE some limited portion of questions. The president’s attorneys are reluctant to let him sit for face-to-face questioning without clear parameters. Four people, including former national security adviser Michael Flynn, have so far been charged in connection with Mueller’s inquiry.
