Car bomb attack wounds Hamas official in lebanese city of Sidon
Hamas says preliminary indications suggest Israel's involvement in a blast targeting an official belonging to the Palestinian resistance movement in Lebanon. In a statement Hamas said Mohammad Hamdan sustained injuries to his legs by an explosive device in the southern city of Sidon. Hamas also said the blast destroyed Hamdan's car and damaged a nearby residential building. Officials have said a bomb was detonated while Hamdan was opening the door of his vehicle. Reports say between 400 and 500 grams of T-N-T was used in the explosion. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
