Massive gas explosion leaves one injured in Baku
One person was severely injured by a gas explosion in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku on Saturday. The victim, a 57-year-old shopkeeper, is being treated for burns at a local hospital. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire started after an explosion in the basement of the building, likely caused by a gas leak. The blast caused significant damage to nearby buildings on Dilyara Aliyeva street in central Baku. Local police have since cordoned off the area.
